- We both love watching movies and making movies!
- We met at camp. No, not band camp, but Kathy does play the flute.
- Steph is an incredible cook! We love to entertain and cook for our friends. He won my heart with Duck a l'Orange. My mom always said he was a "keeper"
- We have always wanted to create a show for the Food Network.
- Steph graduated from Communication Studies at Concordia University, that is when we both made our first documentary together, it was about skiing.
- We have been filming weddings for 10 years and still LOVE our job. We are always thinking and trying new techniques to create a memento that our couples will cherish forever.
- We got married in Montreal with our closest friends and family, It's just unfortunate that our wedding video sucks!!! Videos should not be full of 80's cheese, it's just wrong.
- Kathy once won a breakdancing competition. Yes you can laugh, it was pretty funny.
- Steph worked at Mad River Post in Los Angeles where he had the amazing opportunity to work on commercials for Nike and created a No Doubt music video.
- We love hotels and dinning, you are not going to catch us camping anytime soon.
- We are working on our second season of "Wild Weddings" with TLC! Yes, you could be one of those fabulous couples on TV, don't worry you need to give permission first.
- Kathy worked on a cop show for Spike TV, that was a real change, I think I'll stick to weddings.
- We both strongly believe in following your dreams, it's incredible what can happen when you have great people supporting you. Our motto every day is "Go big or go home".
- Oscar night in our home is bigger then the Super Bowl.
- Kathy loves to dress up, which is one of the fun reasons to work at weddings! If you see a wedding vendor show up at a wedding wearing a cat shirt with bejewled eyes that should be considered a red flag.
- Steph's a chocolate person.
- Kathy's a strawberry person.
- Kathy and Steph like strawberries dipped in chocolate.
- Steph considers their 16mm Arriflex camera his third child.
- Steph eagerly awaits the arrival of his fourth child, the RED ONE camera.
- Our footage was featured on Entertainment Tonight.
- Our short term goal - spend every day doing what we love to do.
- Our long term goal - Get nominated for an Oscar, actually WIN an Oscar (see # 13)
- Steph prefers to be called Cecil B DeMarliss when he is directing a movie.
- Our favorite thing in the world is spending time with our amazing daughters (Hannah + Rachel). We are so lucky to have a job that allows us to spend quality time with them.
